Faculty of Management Investment Naming Opportunities

The Engineering, Management and Education Building- EME

Management Building - UBC OKanagan

The dream of creating a unique business program that stands at the leading edge of innovation is a reality at UBC’s Okanagan campus. The Faculty of Management has grown at a tremendous rate from 60 to 760 students in the last four years. This expansion is attributed to the local and international focus of the programs driven by faculty in meeting today’s management challenges.  The new EME Building supports the growth and future opportunities of the Faculty of Management.

The EME Building is a $68 million Gold Seal Standard building which showcases outstanding research facilities and a groundwater geothermal exchange system, making it one of the most sustainable buildings in the Okanagan Valley. This state-of-the-art facility combines cross-disciplinary research with green technologies and modern design to inspire interdisciplinary collaboration between management and engineering students. Unique to this building are the labs and social spaces that promote social interactions between all students, resulting in initiatives that are changing the business world.

The Faculty of Management offers an opportunity for donors to establish a legacy by naming multi-purpose classrooms, study room, boardrooms, exterior social spaces and gardens, or the Management wing itself.

Your gift to the EME Building and the Faculty of Management will enrich the student and teaching experience, support innovative research, and expand graduate programs that are creating new models for business industries. As the program grows, this building is a place where your investment will bring students and industry together lead business in our local and global communities.
