Alumni are the foundation – the heart – of UBC. From visionaries to world leaders, some of the finest minds have passed through our halls, forging relationships, inspiring ideas, and impacting society.
Today, there are 250,000 living UBC graduates, and it is our commitment to enrich the lives of our growing body of alumni so that they can benefit from lifelong connections to each other and their alma mater.
To create a home for our alumni, UBC and the Alumni Association are looking to establish an Alumni Centre on our Vancouver campus.
Centrally located at University Square, the new 40,000 square foot building will be distinctive and welcoming; a showcase of our collective memories and a vibrant place for our alumni to converge.
The environment will be one where alumni can engage each other, where their paths will intersect with faculty and students, and where stories can be passed from generation to generation.
It is, however, more than just bricks and mortar. It is a place that will celebrate all that we hold dear. Our pride, our rich history and the achievements of our leaders will live within these walls.
In order to ensure that a new Alumni Centre will become a vital part of the University of British Columbia, we need your support.
