Faculty of Education

The Faculty of Education at UBC has served the international education community through leadership in research, service, and advocacy for more than 50 years. One of the leading faculties of education in the world, the Faculty of Education prepares professionals for practice in a wide range of education-related fields, from preschool through adulthood.

The Faculty of Education prepares more than 45% of the elementary teachers, the majority of secondary teachers, and a significant proportion of the special needs teachers, counsellors, school administrators, school psychologists, vocational rehabilitation counsellors, and First Nations teachers in British Columbia.

The School of Kinesiology is a part of the Faculty of Education and provides an exceptional, student-centered learning environment in the study and practice of human movement.
